CHARACTER

NAME: Skye
CANON: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
CANON-POINT: 1x20-Nothing Personal

DOSSIER

HISTORY: I think that’s beautiful. Pieces solving a puzzle.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S STRENGTHS?:

Skye always tries to see the best in people and situations, she’s at heart an optimist and does her best to try and instill that in others. Having grown up trying to prove herself over and over again to people is exhausting, and Skye knows what it’s like to want to have a second chance. So she does her best to give people that second chance. Skye also cares deeply for people and their well being and will risk her own safety to make sure others are taken care of and feel safe.

Which ties in with her empathy, something that to some could be seen as a weakness but that’s not how Skye sees it. It gives her the ability to truly understand others. While trust doesn’t always come easy to Skye, so when she does she’s extraordinarily loyal and will do anything for those she trust.

Skye is also naturally gifted when it comes to computer science, having the ability to find the patterns in things makes hacking second nature to her.

WHAT ARE YOUR CHARACTER'S WEAKNESSES?:

Skye is not good at hiding her emotions, and at times her emotions can get in the way of logical thinking. If someone has hurt her, she can’t just push that aside. Especially with having been hurt so many times in the past by foster families breaking their promises. This also makes it hard for her to trust others, and she feels as though she has to put an act on in order to impress people.

Over the years of having to learn how to fend for herself which has caused Skye to become very good at manipulating situations if it comes down to it. She is also immensely stubborn and will not budge on something she believes in, even if multiple people tell her differently. Skye also tends to act on impulse and not really think about the consequences until after the fact.

WHAT EVENTS OR CIRCUMSTANCES IN YOUR CHARACTER'S PAST HAVE IMPACTED THEM THE MOST?:

Being shot was a huge event for Skye that changed her outlook on life. She refuses to be weak and defenseless after that happened, and worked even harder at her SHIELD training. Also her upbringing has motivated her to make sure that no one else is left feeling unwanted and unloved. Being brought into SHIELD also made her realize that she is capable of being part of a team, and have people that actually care about her and not just what she can do for them, but for what they can do for each other.

WHAT MOTIVATES YOUR CHARACTER?:

Her compassion for other people and always wanting to help them, even in dangerous situations.

WHAT IMPRESSION DO OTHERS TEND TO HAVE OF YOUR CHARACTER?:

Skye often shows her willingness to help others, as well as to protect them. Her sarcasm is often prominent as this is a way of her making light of situations that scare her. Plus, who doesn’t love sarcasm in general?

IN WHAT WAYS DOES THAT IMPRESSION DIFFER FROM WHO YOUR CHARACTER REALLY IS?:

Skye tends to wear her heart on her sleeve, so the impressions she tends to make are usually true to who she actually is. That being said, Skye has the tendency to have her walls up around new people as she’s afraid of getting hurt again.

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER HANDLE CRISIS OR ADVERSITY?:

Skye tries to look at the whole picture, even in the face of danger. Working quickly and without hesitation is how she’s gotten through life, although this can also backfire on her at times. She’ll always put herself second and everyone else first, even if it means she gets hurt in the process she’d rather go down protecting those she cares about.

WHICH 5 THINGS WILL YOUR CHARACTER REMEMBER UPON ARRIVAL, AND WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THEM?:
-Her name. (Always an important one to remember, and it’s name that Skye chose for herself, as the name given to her at the orphanage never seemed to fit her. So it has a lot of meaning behind it for her.)

-That she’s been shot. (Aside from the obvious scars on her stomach, this was a huge turning point for her. She became more determined in her training as a SHIELD agent, especially considering she almost died because of it.)

-Falling out of a flying car. (This just happened right before her arrival, and of course she was panicking as she didn’t have her seat belt on or a parachute on.)

-Her hacking skills. (This is something Skye has been doing for years now and has importance behind it as she got started in the hopes of finding her parents through it.)

-That she’s an orphan. (Also something that shaped her a lot was her upbringing, or lack there of a steady upbringing. Having been moved from foster home to foster home for years it was always put into her mind that she wasn’t wanted.)

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU FEEL WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CHARACTER?:

Skye has Inhuman DNA that has yet to be activated(something that can only be done through terrigenesis. She also has GH.325 running through her system. Which was extracted from Kree(an alien species) DNA and used to save Skye when she was on death’s door after being shot. She is also Jiaying’s daughter, although she is not yet aware of this fact.

SKILLS, ABILITIES, & PHYSICAL WEAKNESSES:
Skills:
Skye is skilled in computer hacking, hand to hand combat(a work in progress still), pattern recognition and has weapons training.

Abilities:
Skye has no superhuman/supernatural abilities, although at times it sounds like it could definitely come in handy.

Weaknesses:
Skye doesn’t have any physical weaknesses that are notable other than normal human weaknesses? AKA she has no super powers that magically make her stronger/run faster.

INVENTORY:
Her clothes, solar backpack, laptop, rings, bracelets, dog tag necklace, changes of clothes (that she stored in her backpack), and a Glock 26.

DIALOGUE-HEAVY:

[Skye let out an irritated huff when someone finally picked up the phone.]

Okay I seriously thought no one was ever going to pick up. Which really isn’t surprising considering it’s late but, I can’t exactly sleep. Sorry. Sometimes I tend to ramble too when I’m overthinking something

..Which is exactly what I’m doing right now. Anyway. Hi.

[To herself:]

Off to a really good start here, Skye.

Uh. Crap. I totally forgot what I was going to say now. I should probably remember what I’m going to say before I call. This would be a lot easier if I could just text. Seriously, who even uses landlines anymore?

Right. Again with the rambling thing. Anyway, I don’t remember a lot about myself, and it seems like I’m not the only one. Anyone else out there freakishly lose their memory to an accident they don’t remember going through? Well, I mean, I remember falling out of a flying car. Which the more I think about it, the more crazy I’m probably sounding right now.

Should probably stop to breathe now. Please tell me I’m not going insane?

[Once again Daisy found herself back here in Heropa with the memories of this place, and the people, flooding back to her. She didn't even give them a chance to talk to her again, taking off before they could even do tests on her. It was proving quickly to be all too much. All of the people, the warm humid area that Florida always provided. Back home, Daisy had been there for months and gone through so many horrific things. The worst of it being the death of her boyfriend, Lincoln. She had done so many bad things, even if it was out of her control, it should have been her who died.

Not him.

Life proved itself over and over again to her that it wasn't fair. The moment she was happy it was torn from her. This time it was too much, and Daisy ran away from the only family she had left. Being on the run meant hiding, from everyone. Especially from the ATCU and SHIELD, who were on the hunt for her. Daisy had done so many bad things, including killing people and threatening those she cared so much about. She had been under someone else's control but that didn't make her feel any better about any of this. The guilt was too much.

Daisy ended up back at her house she shared with her roommates, but only long enough to get into the car that Jesse had given to her. She wasn't sure how much time had passed here, but the car didn't look rusted. So it couldn't have been too long.

Speaking of Jesse, Daisy remembered the last time she saw him they had broken up. Which, in this moment, she's very much relieved about that. She couldn't handle being around anyone, especially him. With all the history they have? It's too much.

She had to get out of here, which is exactly what she did and hoped to god no one saw her along the way. She wasn't sure where she was going at first, she just kept driving. Eventually, though, Daisy had a terrible idea. What if she hid out in the one place she knew no one would find her? The house Jesse had taken her to a few months back. He wouldn't be there, she knew that for a fact. Not when he's got Joel and Ellie now.

It took her almost a day to find it, because she was just going off a foggy memory. Her whole body was exhausted, from all of the emotional stress she's been dealing with for weeks. So it was a relief when she finally found the cabin. Getting out of the car, Daisy carefully checked the area, just to make sure. No lights were on in the house. Which was a good sign. It took her a bit to pick the lock, but once she heard a click she hurried inside.

No alarm went off, and why would it? He didn't even have this place protected by magic like his beach house. He told her no one would ever be able to find this place.
She remembered the last time they were here though, and the emotional guilt hit her all over again. She was such a fuck up, and brought nothing but pain to anyone she ever cared about. Face in her hands, Daisy pressed the heels of her palm into her eyes to stop herself from crying. After standing in the dark cabin for a few minutes, Daisy finally put a light on. She hadn't eaten in days, which, yes, she knew was bad but she just wasn't hungry. Now that she knew she wouldn't be found though, her stomach gave her a reminder that she should probably eat something.

Unsurprisingly there was barely anything in the house. Why would there be? Jesse rarely came here. Taking advantage of running water, Daisy took out a glass from the cabinet and filled it with water from the tap, chugging it in practically one go before refilling it. Honestly? She's not sure how long she would stay here, but for now it was her best bet of staying away from everyone. She deserved to be alone. At least that way she couldn't hurt anyone else.]

[If Daisy had to spend one more minute in this house, she was going to explode. Which is why she sent a text to Joel:]

are you still at work? i'm about to lose it if i don't get out of this house now. also. i'm starving.

IN CHARACTER
Name: Daisy Johnson
Canon: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Canon Point: 3x15-Spacetime
Age: 27

History: history (spoilers if you haven't finished season 3.)

Personality:
Daisy grew up in and out of St. Agnes Orphanage as a child. Being tossed about from foster family to foster family made it rather difficult for her to trust people. Without any stability, and feeling as though she wasn't worthy of being loved, she often withdrew her emotions from others. Rejection was an emotion she often felt, which also made it difficult for her to open up to others. There were only a handful of people that she could trust fully, and once they had gained her trust, she was extremely loyal, going as far as to risk her own life for those she cared about. Like when they were trying to rescue Jemma Simmons, a fellow agent of SHIELD, Daisy was the only one who could keep the portal open thanks to her power. The downside of this was the portal emanated a very powerful vibration that actually caused her to pass out once. That didn't stop her from doing it again.

Despite her childhood being rather rough, Daisy has always been an optimistic person, often seeing the best of others, even when it may not be deserved. Like Grant Ward, who turned out to be a traitor to SHIELD. Before she became aware of this, she just knew he had a dark past but was able to see past all of that. She even tried to convince him that he was a good person. That betrayal did leave her a bit jarred. Reading people has always come easily to her; because of this, she knows how to twist things around for her own personal gain. Although she tries not to do this, Daisy has been in rather sticky situations before that require her to do so. Especially with her line of work, sometimes she needs information she will not be able to get otherwise.

Compassion is something that runs deep within Daisy. Seeing someone in trouble has never sat well with her, and if she can help them in any way, she will. Like when an Inhuman, like herself, passed away and ridden with guilt, Daisy promised to look after his family and protect them. Despite being compassionate, she does her best to not be overbearing either knowing that help is not always wanted. When things become too serious, or attention is drawn to how she may be feeling, Daisy often deals with it by deflecting. Whether that means making a joke, or being sarcastic, it is her way of coping with stress.

Growing up, Daisy often had to fend for herself. As the person she could rely on the most was herself, that left rather quick on her feet. She could easily assess a situation fully and come up with some sort of solution, or at the very least, do something to bide her time until she was able to gain control over the situation. Sometimes this left her to do things rather recklessly, which could get her into trouble. Like when she had been taken hostage and was trying to get away, Daisy resorted to kicking an innocent man in the balls and put the blame on the man who had her hostage. Which aided in her getting away. With being reckless means not always thinking of the consequences. Daisy will always go with her gut instinct on a situation as opposed to what others tell her.

Being by herself for any given time is not something Daisy has ever been fond of, as she has always been rather extroverted. While she is able to do things for herself, she can still be a team player. She has soared in situations where everyone plays the part that they're good at. The training that S.H.I.E.L.D. gave her has helped to build her confidence within herself. She has had to learn to suppress her heightened emotions when in stressful situations, which has left her to think more rationally and do things that would end with less of a mess.

Abilities/Skills:

General Skills:
Hand to hand combat-Daisy has been trained in hand to hand combat as required in SHIELD to be a field agent.
Marksmanship-With being an agent of SHIELD, Daisy was also taught how to use guns.
Hacker-This is something that came naturally to Daisy, and it started out as a way of her trying to get information on her parents. It turned into much more than that though, and is part of her job in SHIELD.
Power Related Skills (Seismic Energy Generation):
Can control/manipulate the vibrations in everything. Including people.
Can cause Earthquakes.
Able to crush a person from the inside out. (Yikes. Don't count on her ever doing this, but she can.)
In a way can manipulate gravity in the sense that if someone is falling, she can actually prevent them from hitting the ground.
Can use her power as a barrier in order to protect herself from people and things such as bullets.

Strengths/Weaknesses:
Strengths:
Computer technology. Daisy is a natural when it comes to CS, so anything along those lines and she excels.
People skills. She's very good at talking and dealing with people. She also knows how to play them, need be.
Stealing. It's a strength and while she's not exactly proud of this, she has had to do it in order to survive.
Observant. Daisy's always been very aware of her surroundings and people. It's a reason she's so good at her job back at S.H.I.E.L.D.
Hand to hand combat. As stated above, Daisy's had a lot of training.
Her powers. It took her a while but she has complete control over them, and knows how to use them properly.
Spy. Kind of what she did back home, so she has those skills.

Weaknesses:
Her empathy towards others. This could be seen as a strength just as much as a weakness. Sometimes she lets her emotions overcloud everything else.
Her temper. Daisy's been known to lose her temper here and there, and while it's usually not undeserved, you don't want to be on her bad side when this happens.
Stubbornness. Good luck trying to get her to do something she doesn't want to do.
Curiosity. It killed the cat and it's almost killed Daisy. If she suspects something is up/not right, she will look into it.
Reckless. Again, if Daisy something is wrong, she will risk herself to make things right.

Items:
1-Smith & Wesson M&P9

[This would be Daisy's first time really figuring out how this MID worked. It reminded her vaguely of some of the technology at SHIELD. Testing out the video feature, Daisy reeled back slightly at the sight of herself. Her body may have been healed but the circles under her eyes were pretty bad.]

Yikes. Uh. Hi. I'm Daisy, and I swear I don't always look this rough. Long story.

[She got beat up trying to save an Inhuman, basically. He died right in front of her, it was great.]

New here if that wasn't already obvious. I've been taken hostage before, but this honestly takes the cake.

[That's sarcasm. She's not thrilled about this at all.]

Rough day made even rougher. Only bright side is I saw a few familiar names in the contacts list, none of which actually know me ,but I know you. If the word Avengers means anything to you, contact me? Okay? Awesome.
Feel free to contact me even if that doesn't mean anything to you. I want to know more about this place. Also, if any of you have some clothes that are not actually hideous that I could borrow... I'm a medium.

"Unfortunately this is gonna hurt, but the good thing is you won't remember it anyway."

Except in that moment she was acutely aware of just how painful it was to be bitten by not one but two people. There was a lot of things Skye had been made aware of existing, superheros having become a part of her life. Vampires though? Not so much. Until today.

She was barely conscious by the time someone found her after her feeble attempts to call out for help. Which she found herself unable to do because of Stefan's command. She heard someone rushing towards her but her eyes were barely open at that point to even know who it was.

CHARACTER NAME: Skye
CHARACTER AGE: 27
SERIES: Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
CHRONOLOGY: 2x19-The Dirty Half Dozen (At the end of the episode.)
CLASS: Vigilante
HOUSING: Randomly placed with other roommates.

BACKGROUND:

Skye’s world is what she would consider ‘normal’. Or at least it started out that way. Having grown up as an orphan in New York City, Skye later found out she was born in China to a human father and inhuman mother. Her role in this world was unknown for a very long time, as Skye didn’t have many aspirations growing up other than to find out where her parents were. No matter how hard she dug though, she was barely able to scratch the surface.

Fending for herself most of her life, it wasn’t until her late teens that she came across a group of hacktivists named the Rising Tide. A man, Miles Lydon, who later became her boyfriend, taught her a lot of computer skills she had yet to have up until that point. He convinced her to join, seeing her talents when it came to hacking computers. Skye joined in search of more knowledge concerning her parents.

The whole point of this group was to anonymously expose powered people, which included superheroes such as the Avengers. Of course, S.H.I.E.L.D., a government agency that protects the identity of the very people the Rising Tide was exposing, had issues with this. There were always struggles to both expose and keep things hidden.

Skye was finally ‘caught’ by S.H.I.E.L.D. and taken in by agents Grant Ward and Phil Coulson, who questioned her. All the while, Skye played her part, snooping into S.H.I.E.L.D.’s intel, this time from the inside. To her surprise, Skye actually started to care about the group of people that worked for Phil Coulson’s team. Loyalties started to stagger, and Skye decided to start working for Phil’s team, feeling that she could get more information on her parents. She still worked for the Rising Tide on the side, however she didn’t give them any information on S.H.I.E.L.D.

After finding out her boyfriend took money from a group that she had also been familiar with, Centipede, for giving them information, Skye finally sided fully with S.H.I.E.L.D. She began to take things seriously, with Grant Ward as her S.O. she began to train in the field, both physically and by reading up on all the protocols and the like that had to do with S.H.I.E.L.D.

Skye’s training came to a screeching halt after a mission went sideways and Skye got shot twice in the stomach. On the brink of death, Coulson went in search of a miracle drug called GH.325, which could have bad side effects. However the risk of her dying was worth administering it, and when it worked and no side effects came into play, suspicion grew as to why. After a rather fast recovery period, Skye came back to her training harder and more focused than before. She was finally given her badge and had become a level one S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. Which didn’t last long at all when the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. happened due to HYDRA agents posing as S.H.I.E.L.D. agents and infiltrating, targeting and killing a lot of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s agents. With S.H.I.E.L.D. no longer being supported as government agency, Coulson’s team was on the run.

With all of this happening, Skye discovered that her S.O., Grant Ward was in fact working for HYDRA. The betrayal shook the whole team.

Their next issue was to try and rebuild S.H.I.E.L.D., with Coulson now the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., they kept Ward locked up in their facility to use for their gain in information. Skye had begun to find out more and more about her parents, and was shocked with everything she’s been told and found for herself. Her parents had not given her away willingly, but her mother had been captured by HYDRA and experimented on, and then left for dead. Her father had done his best to protect Skye but S.H.I.E.L.D. found her and took her into custody, placing her in the orphanage she grew up in. Finally, Skye had been reunited with her father, who turned out to have taken revenge on countless HYDRA agents, and he was not too keen on S.H.I.E.L.D. either. Skye felt absolutely disgusted by this, and wanted nothing to do with him. It turns out her mother was experimented on because she was actually an Inhuman, a gene that was passed down to Skye and when she came in touch with something called a Diviner, she was given her power. Which in turned killed one of her partners, Agent Antoine Triplett due to the sudden rush of power that caused the place she had been in to collapse. Pun intended, it shook her world. She had done her best to keep it a secret from the team, as she feared what S.H.I.E.L.D. would do to her in these circumstances, considering she was an agent.

Her secret didn’t last for long, and she was placed under observation and taken off duty for a while. Her father also found out she had become an Inhuman and had gone after S.H.I.E.L.D. to try and get her from them. In the end, she was able to get away with S.H.I.E.L.D. thanks to Coulson and a select few other teammates. Fearing what could happen to her, Coulson took her to a safe house. It was there that she met Gordon, who was also an inhuman like herself. He told her about this place called Afterlife, where everyone was either inhuman, or waiting to get their powers. He offered to take her there, and she thought she would be able to get rid of her powers. Not wanting to risk hurting anyone else, and wanting desperately to not be kicked out of S.H.I.E.L.D., which had become her home. She still was hesitant to go with someone whom she had just met. However, S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had found out where she was staying and had gone after her. An agent shot at her, and she used her powers to defend herself. Not expecting as much power to come out, it knocked back both agents and a lot of trees down, one of the chunks of wood from a tree stabbing the man in the shoulder who had shot at her. Horrified, Skye called for Gordon to help her. She awoke a few days later in the Afterlife and met a man named Lincoln as well, who helped her come to terms with her power as well as show her around Afterlife. It turned out she wasn’t the only new transformed inhuman there, Raina, who had caused nothing but tragedy in her life since the moment she stepped into working with Centipede but also having known her father personally, was also here. Another shock was that her mother was in fact alive, and the person who was in charge of the Afterlife. If that wasn’t enough, her father was also there, although not an inhuman.

Skye learned more about her family and started to see her father in a new light. Her mother also taught her how to better control her powers and while it was nice to finally be with her parents, granted they were pretty broken, Skye also knew she needed to get in contact with Coulson and the rest of her team. However, her parents as well as Gordon, who was the only one able to transport them in and out of Afterlife, were not too keen on that. Although her mother didn’t seem to like her father being around any longer, fearing that he could pose a threat for the rest of the inhumans who resided there and decided to kick him out without his knowledge really. Skye saw this as an opportunity to get back in contact with S.H.I.E.L.D., as well as also starting to feel sorry for her father and wanting to try to break the news to him as painlessly as she could.

Getting in contact with her team, it was only a matter of time before they showed up. However they weren’t the only ones. Lincoln had been sent to keep an eye on them, and S.H.I.E.L.D. wasn’t the only one to show up but so did HYDRA, who then captured Lincoln and someone else from her team. Skye had almost been reunited with her team when she and her father were taken back to the Afterlife after the attack by HYDRA. Skye immediately wanted to go back and get Lincoln, but her mother refused. Saying it was too much of a risk, despite knowing what they were capable of doing and fearing that HYDRA was tracking Gordon’s movements. However, Skye couldn’t sit idle by and let Lincoln die.

Skye tried to convince Gordon on her own that she needed to get back down to where S.H.I.E.L.D. was and regroup so they could go after Lincoln and save him. However he had his orders, and it wasn’t until Raina, surprisingly wanted to help save him. Visions being one of her powers, Raina had seen Skye save Lincoln. Finally back with her team, they went after the HYDRA base and were able to save Lincoln. He was in bad shape and was brought back to Coulson’s base. That’s where her story ends for now, but it looks as though a new story is about to unfold when Skye wakes up in an unknown place with heroes and villains of their own.

She's always done her best to not be overbearing either, especially when she's had to deal with psychiatrists trying to get to know her and help her. It was something she had to deal with when she was going to be fostered out to someone.

When things become too serious, or attention is drawn to how she may be feeling, Skye often deals with it by deflecting. Whether that means making a joke, or being sarcastic, it is her way of coping.

Growing up, Skye often had to fend for herself. As the person she could rely on the most was herself, that left rather quick on her feet. She could easily access a situation fully and come up with some sort of solution, or at the very least, do something to bide her time until she was able to gain control over the situation. Sometimes this left her to do things rather recklessly, which could get her into trouble. She didn't always think of the consequences. Skye always went for what her gut told her to do, instead of what others told her to do. This could also get her into trouble with the law, although with her skills in computers she could rather easily cheat the system.

Being by herself for any given time is not something Skye has ever been fond of, as she has always been rather extroverted.

POWER: Skye’s power is Seismic Energy Generation which means she has the ability to manipulate and generate powerful vibrations in everything. Although she was not born with these powers active, they were always inside of her. Waiting until she came in contact with a device called the diviner. She is part of an ancient sub-human species called Inhumans created by the Kree. As Gordon, a man who is also an Inhuman explained to her, there are vibrations in everything. Nothing ever rests. She can hone in on them and Skye has found that if she loses control of her emotions, that she also loses control of her powers. She can even cause dangerous vibrations within a person, although she has only done this once. She could literally bring a building down if she wanted to. Although she is getting better at controlling it, she can feel the vibrations in everything constantly. She once described it as feeling as though there are 1,000 bees trapped inside of her.

〈 CHARACTER SAMPLES 〉
COMMUNITY POST (VOICE) SAMPLE:

[Skye turns the computer’s camera on scooting the chair she was sitting in closer to the screen before she finally makes eye contact with the small dot.]

Uh, right. So, hi. Sorry, been a while since I’ve done something like this. Not that you would-

[Skye made a face, inwardly cringing at how bad of a start that was as she looked away and down at the mouse. Reaching for it, Skye quickly pulled her hand back and looked at the camera again.]

Right. Forgot I can’t exactly start over. So, mine name’s Skye. I come from, well, a lot of places. I work for something called S.H.I.E.L.D., which, apparently, not a lot of people around here are familiar with. We helped protect the public from finding out about superheroes. And no, not just the Avengers.

Gotta be honest, not too happy to be here considering I was brought here against my will. But I know I’m not the only one here. So, if you see me around come say hi, okay?

[It’s clear she wants to say more, but saying so over something live, that anyone could be watching, Skye knows better.]

Uh, guess that’s it so-

[Skye gave a small wave before shutting the camera off.]

LOGS POST (PROSE) SAMPLE:

Skye was still trying to shake the cobwebs. She had awoken in a strange place with no memory of how she had arrived there. It seemed like the moment she felt settled somewhere, something had to come along and shake it up. The women who had helped her understand where she was seemed nice, but Skye didn’t trust anyone around here. Not that trust came to her easily to begin with.

The tattoo was something that rubbed her the wrong way. Why did they have to be marked like cattle? What bothered her even more was that she didn’t have a weapon on herself. Still, she walked around the place, curiosity getting the better of her. The solider who had given her all of her information, made her even more cautious. A lot of the people around here though, they seemed content. It was clear just by Skye’s body language that she was anything but that.

Apparently they were in Florida, which is funny because she’s never actually been there before.

Brought to her new home, Skye was polite to her ‘roommates’, but it was clear Skye had a lot of questions. Ones she was not about to ask until the solider who had dropped her off left. One thing was for sure Skye wasn’t about to sit idle by. Trouble always seemed to follow her, and maybe that’s because she caused some of her own.

“So, do you remember how the hell you got here?” Skye asked lowly once the solider was gone.

FINAL NOTES:
Skye is skilled in hand-to-hand combat and firearms. She’s also really good with computers.
