Daisy gripped the door handle as Grant floored it. Stealing a car is not what she had in mind for the day, but there were a lot of surprises for her lately. She offered to help him hot wire it but then he just pulled out the keys and showed them to her. Sometimes she underestimated his swiftness. It was certainly up there with hers.
"You can be such a show off sometimes!" Daisy shouted against the wind.

"Nobody steals my property."
Ever see James Bond?
Ever see an actual spy car? His may not fly but he does have two rockets that fly out of the trunk - hitting acar that goes spinning back in the process. There are loud explosions and a few screams.
Ward smiles.

"...Are you shitting me?"
Lola was a pretty impressive car to begin with. The fact that Ward had that sort of feature on his car surprised her though. Although this was good to know should the waters turn again and once again they are on opposing teams.

He grimaces, pulling to a stop in front of a squat low brown building. He tapped the wheel.
"....SHIELD's safehouse."

When they stopped at the safehouse, Daisy looked over to him briefly before she undid her seat belt..
"Where are you going to go now?"

Yet. But he won't say that. Shield needs to be removed but there's a real flicker of truth when he turns to look at her, "...They need me."
Like you used to. Like Fitz used to.

Daisy is, however, taken back by the look on his face and the way he really believed he was needed by people. Even if they were all just as bad as he was.
"Right. Well, try not to get blown up on the way back to wherever it is you guys are squatting now." She probably shouldn't have said that, but she also didn't feel right telling him to be safe. He made her emotionally confused, which frustrated the crap out of her.

His smile turned nasty, "Or Maybe we'll just show up and save your asses again."

"Go take care of your people, Ward." There might be a hint of sarcasm in her tone as she closes the door a bit roughly.
